Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar
The Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar incorporates Fly a Spitfire, providing warbird flight experiences, and the Spitfire Factory which is their restoration facility dedicated to returning Spitfires back to the skies. Founded in early 2011 as The Spitfire Company (Biggin Hill) Limited, it had restored a total of 15 Spitfires to flying condition as of September 2022, with several other projects currently underway. Hangar tours and Technical tours provide access to the workshop facilities and to view the collection which also includes, in addition to the Spitfires, Hurricane, Messerschmitt 109, Harvard and Cub aircraft plus a collection of vintage cars, motorcycles, Merlin engines and WWII artefacts.
Visit to Hangar: 31st July 2024
